Check out the Holidays at the Balloon Museum!
Holidays Take Flight
8th Annual Family Day
Sunday, December 7, 11am-3pm.
There will be a sing-along Holiday Concert with Susie Tallman & Friends that will have the the whole family raising their voices in song! Live holiday music that celebrates the season will feature the Enchantment Handbell Ensemble, local favorite Cielito Lindo de Juan Lucero playing New Mexico holiday music and the Manzano High School Choir caroling throughout the museum.
Holiday family activities include a visit with Balloon Pilot Santa (a crowd favorite and great photo-op), decorating balloon shaped cookies, making balloon holiday cards, ornaments and a remote-controlled hot-air balloon outdoors (weather permitting).
To make the day more festive, special holiday food and delicious hot chocolate will be available for purchase from Conchitas Creations Gourmet Food Truck.
A very special opportunity to share with those less fortunate and have fun doing it features Travelin’ Jack, the official mascot for the 2014 New Mexico Marines Toys for Tots Campaign. For the third year in a row, Jack (a loveable four-legged friend) will present a large donation New Mexico Toys for Tots. Jack will paw-ticipate by presenting over 500 children’s books to Toys for Tots. Those who wish to do so may bring new, unwrapped toys and games to donate to Toys for Tots.
